Upload a WebCT .zip file to Canvas

 

To create a .zip file of your WebCT content that you’d like to migrate, simply do the following:

  • Login into WebCT and select the course from the course list.
  • Select File Manager from the left-hand sidebar.

  • Select the files you wish to export:
    Select files to export
  • Scroll down and click the Zip button.
  • Save the file to your computer or your Cabinet folder.
  • To bring your .zip file with your WebCT content to Canvas, follow the instructions on the How do I Import Zip Files page in the Canvas Guides.

Note: Depending on your browser preferences, your WebCT files may download as a standard folder, rather than a .zip file. If this is the case, you can simply bulk upload the files to your Canvas course.
